SOSNA Triangles

The SOSNA Triangles committee are a team of neighbors and businesses committed to improving the triangular spaces along Grays Ferry Avenue, most notably the small Catharine Thorn Park in front of South Square Market at 23rd and South Streets.

In 2018, the Committee aims to:

  1. Increase Pedestrian Safety
  2. Increase Bicyclist Safety and Accessibility
  3. Enhance and Continue Beautification of the Triangles
  4. Begin Phase 2 of Making the Space Permanent
  5. Continue and Expand Free and Family-Friendly Programming

We are cognizant of the need to maintain loading areas and street parking, and believe our vision achieves both while providing a beautiful greenspace in a neighborhood that sorely needs it. Some have even grown to call it “the neighborhood’s backyard”.
