Light Up The Night BBQ

The SOSNA Safety Committee is thrilled to announce the second annual Light Up the Night BBQ on Tuesday, August 7th. This year we will be hosting a block party on the 2000 Block of Catharine Street from 6:00 - 8:30 PM!!!

This family-friendly, community BBQ is being held on National Night Out. The purpose of National Night Out is to raise awareness about safety and crime prevention in the neighborhood, to get to know your neighbors, and to strengthen police-community partnerships. The South of South Town Watch will be hosting a neighborhood group patrol, the Safety Committee will be giving out FREE CFL light bulbs for your stoop light, and 17th District police officers will be on hand to register your bike! Also, the Friends of Chester Arthur will be providing a dunk tank!!!
