The March 2012 Meeting of the SOSNA Safety Committee will take place Monday March 12 at 6:30 PM at the SOSNA Office, 1901 Christian Street. Come join us as we plan the group's 2012 activities to improve safety throughout our community.
Ongoing projects include:
- Planning March 22nd 17th Police District Officer Meet & Greet at Ten Stone
- Conducting a wheelchair audit (as has been done in Memphis) to highlight the need for safe sidewalks and crossings.
- Produce educational safety posters to raise awareness about simple ways to make yourself and your property safer.
- Advocating for a local bike registry to track and retreive stolen or lost bikes.

The Safety Committee meets the second monday of every month at 6:30 PM.
